Freesurf let's you use their SMTP if you come from one of their IPs (Dialup or ADSL). Otherwise it denies relaying. I suppose this is simply done with the access.db. (In Sendmail) That's the way we do it here. You could define Freesurfs SMTP as your Smarthost.
