So far so good, BUT: IMHO it would only make sense if one is not just implementing these additional DNS-records rather than using it at MTA side. So what happens when I set up everything but the sender of an email which should be accepted by one's MTA has no such record? I could imagine that this happens now and for the next month in about more than 90 percent of all mail which is received by one's MTA. Sure, one solution would be just to provide the records and not using it on MTA side, but one day you should use it (IMHO asap) and you can't be sure that all senders are providing it at this time. Seems like a chicken-egg-problem... Are there any known solutions? (No, I didn't RTFM until now :-) ) PS: Has anybody set it up on a qmail MTA and made some experiences in daily business? - -- Mit freundlichen GrÃssen Tobias OrlamÃnde Technischer Leiter eyes4media GmbH Gaiserwaldstrasse 16a CH-9015 St. Gallen fon +41-71-3141010 fax +41-71-3141019 -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.2.4 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQFBEIhFbZe1CSCwYlARAhMWAKCROB7akwfM1HG08/tYXAGZMe9QKwCaA3UB WQ2g2qU/mdgjlEv/gPKQpvs= =i1tD -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- _______________________________________________ swinog mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://lists.init7.net/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/swinog
