Hi Maryanne. With all due respect, your prejudicial comments indicate that you haven't bothered to look at http://www.hope.net or any of the hundreds of archived talk recordings there that go back to 1994. Many people from our SWLfest community have attended and spoken at HOPE. Anyone who has ever built or modified a radio or antenna is a hacker, of sorts. Prejudice and stereotypes have no place at the SWLfest or at HOPE. Both conferences offer a wide range of unique learning opportunities. No doubt there's people who think the SWLfest attended by a bunch of undesirable weirdos ;-)

Cheers,

-Ed Cummings

Ed, my brother, I would "hope" we would NOT have a session in refernce

for people and the promotion of it on a Fest mailing list is
inappropriate-groups like "Anonymous" and their ilicit activities have
no business on a SWL-related list.
