And I think the "unofficial" auctions started long before that....years ago, Ken bought a piece of recording equipment (small item, don't remember what it was) off eBay. When it arrived from the UK, he was very surprised to see indicators that it came from Bush House. He contacted the BBC and found out the equipment was stolen-he packed it up and returned it to Bush House.
