Rich, thanks for making that useful airport shuttle update to the
SWLfest.com website.
The Tropiano airport shuttle to the hotel costs $29 (one-way) plus
mandatory gratuity. You have to call them well in advance at (215) 616-5370.
I you enjoy traveling by train, a cheaper and more interesting option
is to take the SEPTA airport line from PHL airport to Philly's
Jefferson Station (formerly Market East) and then transfer to the
Manayunk-Norristown Line to the Norristown Transportation Center
(which is a 15-min cab drive from the hotel.) The train fare for the
full trip is $9.00 and you can buy your ticket from a machine on the
PHL airport train platform (or for a bit more on the train.) At
Jefferson Station, tell the train conductor that you're deboarding at
the Norristown Transportation Center. Here's the URL for SEPTA's
"transportation planner" which can create a train itinerary for you:

From the Norristown Transportation Center you can take Uber or Lyft
for about $15 (or a taxicab for a bit more) to the hotel. (Or if you
have a friend at the hotel with a car, they might be willing to make
the short trip to pick you up ;-)
If you're coming from Philadelphia's 30th Street Station from
anywhere, for only $7.00 (pay on the train) you can take the
Manayunk-Norristown Line to the Norristown Transportation Center, and
then take Uber or Lyft for about $15 (or a taxicab for a bit more) to
the hotel. (Or if you have a friend at the hotel with a car, they
might be willing to make the short trip to pick you up ;-)
I hope folks find this transportation info useful. Maybe it can also
be added to the SWLfest.com website.
