That wasn't just a regional thing. I remember some stoplights from about that same era with 'stop' and 'go" backlit in eastern NC. They seemed old to me then, so maybe they were from the late '40s or 1950s. Of course, when you are a kid, everything not made in the last two years seems old. :-) Like those "old people" over 30. :-) 73, Curt
