I bought my first short wave radio in 1976 and was delighted to discover My Word, My Music and Just A Minute on the WS. If memory serves they used to rotate these approximately four months at a time.

"Just a minute" came after (1967) and didn't become a classic. And besides, they never claimed immedicacy. Those programmes were always BBC-WS summer fill.
