Philo Agora's talk next Tuesday, February 19 at its Glebe cafe
location, will be Peter Bowden on God, Atheism and Human Values
The talk examines the recent onslaught in atheist writings -
Dawkins, Hitchens, Onfray, Dennet, Harris, the New Atheists as they
call themselves , analyses their arguments, adds a brief comparison
with philosophers and scientists over time, including Darwin, and
asks what we have learned.
Next Tuesday February 19, the Fair Trade Coffee House, 33 Glebe
Point Road, Glebe, $6.00 this time , includes a free cup of coffee or
tea. 7.30 - 9.00pm. If you want a meal, come early, as the chef goes
off at 7.30 . All profits from the Fair Trade Cafe go to Third World
development.
