Can I suggest that we have more than one set of instructions for Leopard. Granted I already know how to install on Leopard without using Fink or MacPorts, but not everyone is going to want to recompile apache/php/mysql to run Symfony, and it's not entirely needed to do basic programming and getting comfortable with the API.
