I'm not sure who should make the change, but if you just
put '.replace('L','')' at
the end of the print statement that should take care of it since there is
no other
'L' that will ever appear in the string that is returned:
print _mr_safe_helper("if n < 170584961: return mr(n, [350,
3958281543])").replace('L','')
