I noticed that you are starting to integrate it. Thanks a lot!
I tried merging polys11 into my branch to see if it would work, but even
after a lot of work I was forced to conclude that it wasn't ready yet.
However, I saved the merge commit because I think some of the conflicts
will come up again. It's at

Many of the conflicts come from other polys fixes that I have scattered
about in my integration branch, which you might also consider
cherry-picking into polys11 (or if you are interested, I could create a
custom branch on top of polys11 with all the polys related fixes from
integration3 only). Anyway, just posting it here in case it can be of use.
