Um, I think I've somehow screwed things up in this branch? Despite commiting cartan_matrix.py is in the branch work as you said, and not adding those files to this commit, cartan_matrix.py got uploaded when I pushed these changes, and it's totally not ready and it'll make more tests fail, and I'm not sure how to fix this?
