hi
in fact, this is my constructor
constructor TSpamCheck.CreateCheck(Zone: string);
begin
inherited;
FDNSBL := Zone;
end;
since all dnsbl works the same, zone can be any of the zones available
and yes, zen is preferable than the other in spamhaus.
want to hear sth funny?
the spamcheck class found your 2 emails as spam
apparently it checks ip's in all received: from... headers
and in your email there were 5 (i wont post them here ofcourse)
the last one seems to be listed and therefore it appears as spam.
also a mail i got from my sister (yahoo) marked as spam
bcoz 1 of the receive headers contained an IP which was listed
i know its not 100% foolproof, so the only question remains is
whether to check ALL received from headers, or make it to check only the first
one
what do u suggest?
and thanks for the link, i wonder where was google when i needed him

ZEN is the combination of all Spamhaus DNSBLs into one single powerful and
comprehensive blocklist to
make querying faster and simpler. It contains the SBL, the XBL and the PBL
blocklist.
In most cases, zen.spamhaus.org replaces sbl-xbl.spamhaus.org. If you are
currently using
sbl-xbl.spamhaus.org you should now replace 'sbl-xbl.spamhaus.org' with
'zen.spamhaus.org'.
BE SURE TO READ THAT PAGE FOR FURTHER DETAILS
NOTE ALSO THAT THE Zen Return Codes are different. If you're just checking
that an
IP is clear (127.0.0.0), that doesn't matter. }
// FDNSBL := 'sbl-xbl.spamhaus.org';
FDNSBL := 'zen.spamhaus.org';
// alternatively use sbl.spamhaus.org (spam) or
// xbl.spamhaus.org (open relays, proxys)
// or an alternative source DNSBL source.
// the sbl-xbl is the combined list.
