Can you ping the device ? network manager might be confusing odccm, though I would've thought if the interface was up it wouldn't matter. Try adding this line to /etc/network/interfaces iface eth0 inet dhcp and make sure there is nothing else in there for eth3. The networking system won't bring this up automatically without an 'auto eth3' line, and neither will network manager, which may give odccm a fighting chance. > I did a "hardware reset" on the PDA.
