I'm not sure that the sync-engine source should do this. I, for one, run
sync-engine differently to this (I run it manually and leave it running
in the background with --detached --logfile=~/sync-engine.log ) and
having sync-engine make policy decisions about how it is run could
reduce choice for those users who do not want d-bus to start
sync-engine. My opinion is that this should be done by the distribution
(where policy can vary as desired).
