I'm sorry, don't understand me wrong.

I understand that such project requires a lot of resources, time, people
involved, support form big companies etc. in order to be free ...

50$ would be fine if i had chance to have sourcecode, have reliable
solution that works fine.

btw. I was thinking about http://code.google.com/p/mooha/
PHP based SyncML server.

But, it seems that project is not active lately and i was not able to start
it at all.
