True, but it's a first indication that something is going to be
intentionally broken. I prefer to keep my own code as little dependent
on maintenance as possible, and staying clear of deprecated API sections
is one way among others to avoid trouble. Besides, "deprecated"
sometimes implies little or no attention to bug fixes beyond security
issues.

I'm able to use Oauth 2 to access the tasks now, however, and the more
complicated parts of the interface to the Google Tasks is already coded
and tested, so the problem is already solved. :)
