Can we agree that we stick to the terminology defined in the
README.rst?
If that section is unclear, then let's clarify that first before trying
to deduct the terms from example command lines.
I wasn't yet introduced to the manna of the README.rst. Things are
starting to look a little clearer now.
That should get me re-started on the HOWTO -- I'll start restructuring.
