I wasn't yet introduced to the manna of the README.rst. Things are
starting to look a little clearer now.
It's the same content as the
https://syncevolution.org/documentation/syncevolution-usage that you
mentioned earlier.
Would it help to make the TERMINOLOGY section more prominent? How?
In a sense, but I think that would be fruitful work for me; if I can
describe them myself properly, that knowledge will be helpful in the
HOWTO.
I deviated from the concepts earlier because I tried to apply the
concepts and got confused, and then tried to work back from working
code. That's not going to work, so I'm going back to the concepts,
before trying to stumble-and-fall my way through scripts.
My growing understanding of the concepts, guided by example, is at
https://github.com/friflaj/syncevo-howto. I'm at the concept of
"database source" now and I'm going to work through all the concepts
before going back to the script. I'd hugely appreciate it if someone
could vet what I've described so far.
Regards,
Emile
