Right. This is related to what I just said about the config system not knowing the exact semantic of the properties. The help text is part of the config system and tries to summarize how the properties are used, but sometimes isn't updated together with the code using them. In fact, it can't always accurately represent everything, because backends (and their use of source properties) are plugable while the config system is part of core SyncEvolution. Someone may add a new backend and can use the existing properties without recompiling SyncEvolution, but he or she can't update the core description of the property. > Just to make sure again, 'shared' here means 'belongs to a data source' > (and it's shared from the POV of the sync config). Correct. -- Best Regards, Patrick Ohly The content of this message is my personal opinion only and although I am an employee of Intel, the statements I make here in no way represent Intel's position on the issue, nor am I authorized to speak on behalf of Intel on this matter. _______________________________________________ SyncEvolution mailing list [email protected] https://lists.syncevolution.org/mailman/listinfo/syncevolution
