I've just installed the latest version for windows(20130803). I've noticed
that the Cairo render has get down in speed considerably :(
Has anyone noticed that too? (specially in other platforms than windows).
I've not created Mac or Linux binaries for the development version, though.
To see the effect just create a simple Outline with five or more vertexes.
Then move the vertex handle of one of them and look the render time since
you release the mouse. In Software render is almost immediate, but now, in
Cairo it has a small lag before it starts to render. I mention this because
it is really noticeable. From my point of view that is unacceptable
because, at last, basic polygon primitives should render minimum with the
same speed than Software.
That doesn't happen with the version of 0.64.0-20130731.
