Jack of all trades, master of none. The phrase I keep hearing is 'single pane of glass'. I use jumpstart to deploy Solaris, and it works great. We use HP's RDP to put Linux on our blades, and it works great. Our Windows guys use something that works great for them, likewise VMware. As far as I can see, unified tools are (a) expensive, and (b) are inferior to those solutions or don't work at all. I'm very much a fan of just using the best tool for the job. -- -Peter Tribble http://www.petertribble.co.uk/ - http://ptribble.blogspot.com/ _______________________________________________ sysadmin-discuss mailing list [email protected] http://mail.opensolaris.org/mailman/listinfo/sysadmin-discuss
