Sorry, I was typing.  Here's copy/paste:

<pre>
# cat /etc/auto_direct
/export/home/justine/lt-justine/c -fstype=smbfs //lt-justine/c-drive
</pre>

All that's in dmesg is this (I see it all the time):

<pre>
Jul 20 14:32:00 jentoo smbd[7672]: [ID 766186 daemon.error]
NbtDatagramDecode[11]: too small packet
Jul 20 14:32:00 jentoo last message repeated 1 time
</pre>

I'm not for sure I'm following you on that last bit. I've tried this in my
.nsmbrc as well - is this what you mean?

<pre>
[default]
user=myuser
password=encryptedpasswd
domain=mydomain
</pre>

Running snoop while doing an ls gives this:

<pre>
  desktop -> lt-justine NBT NS Query Request for *..............[0], Success
lt-justine -> desktop NBT NS Query Response for *..............[0], Success

</pre>

Anything else you can think of that I should look into?
