O, you mean with CUPS and all. Done that with Mac OS X. Used an ancient hp deskwriter. It worked very well.
* Setting up Linux as a file server for System 6 Macintosh computers, and the Apple IIgs.
I guess nobody as of yet found a way to resurrect OS X as a viable file server for system 6 Macs...
