There are only 2 problems I am having with netatalk right now. 1: I cannot get it to provide shares to my system 6 mac without those shares being locked 2: I cannot print from my mac. It finds the printer and then begins to spool the job, but never gets farther than that. It's like they lose contact with each other.
If you know the solution to either of those problems with netatalk and system 6, please let me know.
