Let me know offlist if you're having trouble tracking it down.
And yes, I'd love to see some of the brighter lights on this list maintain momentum on the System 6 browser project! Coding is way beyond my ability, especially the kind of tight assembly-language stuff that produced such powerful apps with such tiny footprints in the 80s-90s. Even the simplest stuff lately gobbles up RAM by the MB.
I'd love to see an integrated suite of System 6 basic apps/utilites, so a user could load in the suite, and end up with System 6, a reliable email app, basic browser, and Clarisworks, all getting along with each other in Multifinder. Anything beyond that would be at the user's discretion and risk. The biggest challenge would be the browser of course; I'm still able to find a number of text-based web pages, but more and more of them insist on Java and Flash, which is mostly used for annoying animations anyway.
Anyone experiencing the rush of System 6 on their old SE or SE/30 can appreciate why it's worth the trouble to explore this! When the system loads and is ready to work with in a few seconds, compared to several minutes for later System 7 setups, and everything happens almost instantly, it's a real treat! I hope System 6 is always around, like Lionel trains and '64 Mustangs! woot!
