It could network, do word processing, browse fine, and print just fine. The problem is, bringing that on to my work's network is playing with their security. Unfortunately the older computers are not that secure, and network security would find a Win95 machine on the network and hunt the person down and demand them to remove it probably within hours. This is a fun contest, but playing with another person's network or endangering your job is a whole other matter. I know what some are saying "Well, program or develop, or get those extra points". Hey, work is their time, after work is your time. Let's not even figure work into the equation ok? We just take it for granted that we all have to make a living, and leave it at that. Besides, some will be able to connect to DSL and high speed networks easier than others. And those others may pick up programming as a way to catch up. There will be plenty to work with without throwing work into the mix. Get what I'm saying? Here is one suggestion to play into all this. Work is their time. You use their stuff. It is for WORK. The Pre-March 1993 machine is for YOUR time. So that said, nothing of YOUR time can be done on the work computer. Hey, work may really appreciate this too. So no receiving of personal mail, chatting, or surfing. That is done on the 1993 computer. No transferring from the work PC to the 1993 computer, and no printing your stuff on the work computer. No listening to MP3's on the work computer or CD's, anything for you. There, sound more reasonable? You want something done for YOU, you do it on YOUR 1993 or before computer.
