Following the example of someone on the new Vintage Macs list, I did it
entirely by e-mail. You can send a message to

and you will get, exactly as with the lemlists on maclaunch, a request for

This may be my downfall, as I haven't created a new account. I will find
out when I try to post to the new Google Groups list, I guess. But at this
point it certainly looks as if I subscribed successfully.
These new lemlists look promising, because we seem to have 3 kinds of
access -- including website and Usenet as well as e-mail.
Hope to see the rest of this stalwart band there...
