I also love System 6, and use 6.0.4 and 6.0.8 on my Mac Plus and my SE's...
small memory footprint, quick boot, it can't be beat! And as you implied,
there aren't really any problems with it that might cause me to come to the
list with questions or advice... as they say, "it just works!" I also use
Word 4.0, and HyperCard 2.1 - a lot!
(I only use 7.1 on my PowerBook 170 because it can't use 6+, and I use
7.6.1 on my Quadra 650 because I have to use some more "modern" apps and do
some minimal web-browsing on it with iCab.)
It's still nice to have a System 6-specific list, though, and hopefully,
we'll be able to help others who come upon the very early vintage Macs that
can use it. I still get a big kick out of people when they say, "You can do
THAT with that old thing?" :-)
