I have never seen "!" for this. (or well, maybe uucp, but christ...) Also, my intention was to use "/" for seperating the unit name (see other mail). I'd claim this is in-line with how most URLs work, where "/" is used to locate the resource on the final system, and everything before the first "/" is the identifier of the system. > Hopefully -H at least parses root@[2001:db8::1] correctly...
