Usually GPRS works better there than here! I had no problems with GPRS
in Poland and Czech Republic just a few weeks ago. At least you can
pretty much go anywhere in Europe and have excellent service for a
relatively low price. You're lucky to get GSM service in a lot of the
US. GSM still has a long way to go to get the type of coverage TDMA/CDMA
has.

I spent the last week at a tradeshow in Brussels, Belgium.

Roaming works fine with any of the three available networks, BASE,
Proximus and B Mobistar.  I couldn't get GPRS to connect at all, however
stuff like #BAL# and #MIN# worked.  Odd.
