Me too. I've been to Iceland, Czech, Denmark, Germany, Poland, Turkey, Romania, Switzerland and Slovakia this year and have been able to roam GPRS. However, in most of these countries, I'm roaming with a T-Mobile affiliate. Perhaps none of the Belgian carriers are?
As for coverage, a very large percentage of the country's population has access to a GSM network and I would disagree re CDMA which probably has the same kind of footprint at GSM in the US. Had US carriers not chosen to be different and deployed GSM rather than TDMA in the early digital days, GSM area coverage might a lot larger than it is today. --mco On Dec 10, 2004, at 20:38, Gil wrote: > Usually GPRS works better there than here!
