I don't think you get the concept of caller tunes.  It has nothing to
do with the way your phone rings for you when someone calls.  Caller
tunes plays that person's choice of music to the caller when they call.
 It doesn't appeal to me, but then again I can't see annoying people
who call me with my choice of music which they may not particularly
like.  My guess is that the companies that offer this (T-Mobile and
Verizon) think there's money to be made mostly from hep teens and that
they'll for over a couple bucks to have their service personalized.
