I know ringtones have become very popular and big business for cell
phone companies. Call me old fashion or just fashion-challenged, but I
can't believe people actually pay for these things when they can get for
free a good dozen or more that come with the phone. I just have my
phone set to the loudest generic ring I can find. I'm not interested in
listening to some midi version of a popular song every time someone
calls me, I just want to know the phone is ringing. If I were
interested in listening to music I'd listen to real music - on my
computer, stereo, iPod, etc. If people want to spend money so that my
phone rings with a different ringtone, so be it. I think they've just
wasted money, but that's up to them. I'm not going to feel that put
upon, and I can always set my phone to vibrate and then I won't have to
listen to what they send me at all! :-)
