Have any of you ever experienced dropped calls at 2:00am? I mentioned it to
Ethan when I was on the phone to customer service (see my other message),
but he said he hadn't heard of the problem. I frequently make late night
calls, and for as long as I've been with the company, if I'm ever on the
phone at 2am, the call gets dropped. 2am, on the dot, consistently. Then,
if I try to call the person back, I might get dropped one or two more times.
By a few min after 2am, I'll finally get a good connection and can stay on
the phone for quite some time. Here's the rationalization I came up with in
my mind: Since T-Mo's based in Bellevue, Washington in the Pacific time
zone, maybe the network re-boots itself or something at midnight pacific /
2am central every night. I highly doubt that that's the real reason, but
it's worked for me for this long. I guess I'll have them look into the
issue next time I call customer service, but I was just curious if any
others experienced this.
