I believe that was about calls that were over two hours not 2 am calls.
 It's been my experience on calls that most calls will drop at two
hours.  I've heard that this was put in place so that if you
accidentally made a call it wouldn't last for more than two hours. 
Don't know how much truth there is to that though.
