I know many on this list also participate over at Howard Forums. For
those that don't, there was a recent post in the MWI thread regarding a
tentative timeline on T-Mobile's conversion to the new Comverse
voicemail platform. A rough list of major cities was posted which looks
like this:

Hawaii - 12/2004
California - Feb & March 2005
Portland & Seattle - April 2005
Salt Lake, Denver, Phoenix - May 2005
NY - May 2005
Philly - June 2005
Boston - July 2005
Atlanta - July 2005
Chicago, Nashville - September 2005
Ohio, Indy, Wisconsin, Pittsburgh - November 2005
Florida, St Louis, KC, Houston Q4 2005/Q1 2006

Hawaii was successfully cutover in December and subscribers in the San
Francisco Bay Area got a message informing them of the change to take
place sometime this week in a system generated voicemail on Thursday
(2/3/05) so it seems things are moving as scheduled.

Of course the ultimate question remains is why has Hawaii not received
the MWI yet?

I guess we'll see what happens to Cali in the next few days.
