T-Mobile's SMTP stopped work for me a while back as well. Fortunately I'm able
to use my own on my server by checking mail first then being able to send. This
is common security practice for some ISP. So you may wish to try it using your
ISP's SMTP server. Many however have moved away from that and only allow access
to SMTP if you're actually connected to their network as a spam prevention
method.
