That's not been my experience. My BT adapter uses the Widcomm drivers, so
perhaps that's the difference. My BT connections and software interaction
has been more reliable since installing the SP2. Granted SP2 isn't going to
fix everyone's problems but a number of people have said that SP2 has helped
them.

Actually, it's just the opposite:  the trick with Bluetooth adapters and
SP2 is to override Microsoft's bluetooth drivers with your device's
