Generalities are just that generalities.  But generally one of the
"kings" of RF is definitely Nokia.  Moto is pretty well known for good
RF as well.  Samsung unfortunately is not well known for good RF.  Many
Ericsson/Sony-Ericsson models have less than stellar RF performance as
well.  You'll have to read mobile reviews to get an idea on what works
well.  Generally, Nokia works well.  As I said this is a generality and
does not apply across the board to everything by all manufacturers.  

People may be quick to knock down the Nokia 6010, but truth is that
what you get as standard features on the 6010 were considered "premium"
features a few years ago.
