Whenever you're roaming domestically T-Mobile will tell you that you will
use your anytime minutes regardless of the time and that MTM and N/W minutes
do not apply. Having said that my experience has been completely the
opposite. You can always check your usage for free, roaming or not, by
dialing #MSG# at anytime.

As for MTM for a Cingular user that's not how it works. It has to be a
Cingular number not a caller roaming on the network. The same is true for
Cingular users that would roam on T-Mobile.

Data plans include domestic roaming for a while now. Unless you have an
(quite a bit) older data plan you won't have to domestic roaming charges.

Subject: [T-Mobile-US] Roaming on Cingular

If I am roaming on Cingular - if I make a call on a Sat or Sunday does it
use up my T-Mo minutes? I know there are no roaming charges. Also if I
call a Cingular phone - does it use up their minutes or is it treated as a
Cingular to Cingular call (I guess on Sat it wouldn't matter anyhow for
them). DonnaB PS By the way I can access the internet using my phone as a
modem with the unlimited data plan even thought I am roaming on Cingular.
