I don't believe so. When I don't want to use my minutes, I call on my home phone (has long distance included in the monthly price). I call (805) MES-SAGE (805-637-7243). Hit the * key, dial in your mobile number, then enter your password/pin. Press 1 to listen to new messages. Mind you, I don't know if this works for pre-paid (To Go accounts). This works on a post-paid plan.

There's also a way to check T-Mobile voicemail by calling your local area code and the prefix of your phone number (provided that it is an original T-Mobile originating phone number), and the last 4 numbers = MAIL. So, for my phone number in Philadelphia, it would be (267) 307-6245. The numbers 6245=MAIL. That should help you, even more so compared to the 805 area code phone number above, since you wouldn't have to dial long distance. I guess you would dial (941) XXX-6245.
