Those are "friends" who spread those rumors that tell me that there's a
virus that will destroy my hard drive and it has been reported on CNN, if I
open up a message called "snowstorm." Argh. I just tell those people to go
to http://www.snopes.com and research before they bombard mailboxes with
junk.

A simple search of snopes.com debunks this as well as other urban  
myth sites.  Please do not spread it as any sort of truth.  It is an  
urban myth, i.e. a rumor.

And it's always "I got a notice from a friend" isn't it? :)
