Sidekick does work well. I thought the swinging screen was going to be the
weak link.as it turns out it is the outlet for the charger and/or the track
ball.

I have had decent luck with the track ball. I took the cover plate on that
side of the SK off.used the compressed air in a can and that seems to do the
trick.

I wanted to look to use a piece of equipment that I already had because
replacement SK ain't cheap.

And I think the T mo stores have sent back all the sk3..while they push the
LX.

Wonder where all those SK3's will wind up.

I DID buy a SK2 as a spare.the are fairly cheap.and the sim transfers fine.
The t mo network recognizes it and there is no problem.

So..you are right..SK service only works in SK's.

Thanks

Bill

Sidekick data can only be used with a Sidekick. Special servers just
for Danger Sidekick devices. It will not work on prepaid. Some people
have been able to use a proxy to get limited net access, but from what
I hear it doesn't work for many people. Right now the only way to get
data is to use a Sidekick.
