T-Mo offers the Sidekick ID for $49.99 with rebate if you add a new line of
service with no activation fee until Dec 31 so it looks like you could get one
for $169.99 taking into account the $10/mo additional line fee on a family
plan. I really don't need an extra line and don't want to pay the $20/mo
additional fee for the Sidekick data plan. However, I do have a couple prepaid
sims (totaling almost $200) and could switch them over to the $1 a day Sidekick
data plan to use when traveling. It is also my understanding the prepaid sims
can be switched back if you don't need the Sidekick data plan. OK - does this
sound like a good idea? Any suggestions? DonnaB
