If you cancel the data service before dec 31, and tmo will let you keep 
the sidekick for $49, it sounds like an awesome deal. The prepaid sims 
could be a pain in the neck though; sometimes tmo gets them activated 
[for sidekick $1/day] in minutes, other times it takes days.

Then again, domestic calls on the sidekick prepaid plan are 15cents a 
minute (no gold reward incentives offered) ..and the iD doesn't have 3g 
data speeds or a camera.
