Re: Moab There's postings all over that if you are out of line of sight with the LaSals, no reception. We've driven up 313 and had spotty reception even with Verizon years ago. Monticello, you are roaming, and only 1 bar at that.
And sometimes it's phone. Monticello one time - no signal at all on a Motorola RAZR, and 1 bar on a BB 8220. I'm staying as long as I can. I'm EM+ since I prefer buying my phones and like the discount. I can leave at any time, but won't. The one thing that does worry me is the wifi calling. I've got the SGS4G and it has wifi calling with any wifi. You get in areas like Moab, Monticello, Bluff, Blanding and Torrey, you can find wifi, but no phone service. (Most due to terrain) All the telcos need to learn that not everyone lives in a city or along a major highway and do something about using any wifi and not just a hotspot. I'm sure they can figure out how to use minutes. I'm just hoping that with all the complaining about customer service, the other carriers will take notice. TMO CS is really great. I've had good help even with unlocked phones. Mostly SMS problems. The phones didn't work on TMO 3g bands, nor did I expect them to. I mostly use my own wifi, but do want backup web service while out. Edge is NOT that bad.
