In some Qemu/KVM configurations I also spotted some strange behavior, that the
first, auto-run of the classic installer boot would not find the cdrom and
stage files, but a second manual-run (enter, enter, enter - or manually
speccing the /dev/*cdrom* device) would do.
As I spend really a lot time that other weekend on T2 trunk cross and non-x86
and other show-stoppper fixing I really had no time to investigate.
Maybe it is timing, and/or u/dev device-node creation related.
