Greetings to the List!
I have just joined, so I suppose I should introduce myself. My name is
Eckhard Gartz; I got into tabletweaving through the SCA and have been doing
it for just over a year now. I've been doing mostly threaded and
double-faced patterns, with some brocading and experiments with 6-hole and
8-hole cards thrown in for fun. If anyone is remotely interested, I have
some samples on a rather outdated site at
http://www.adamastor.za.org/as/tw/samples.htm.
Being a software developer I also decided to write a small application,
initially mostly for designing dobule-faced patterns. I've since expanded
it to deal with threaded-in patterns and basic brocading; you can find it at
http://users.iafrica.com/e/ec/eckie/tabletweaving/gtt.zip. I would
appreciate any feedback, comments, suggestions, or ideas. I'm still working
on it, so there are probably various bugs as well...
Cheers,
Eckhard.
