Sponsored by TWIST - Tablet Weavers International Studies & Techniques

Hello everybody and a happy new year.

After having a very good soup today (made from cooking beef bones and
vegetables) my wife and me discussed which bones might be used for
making tablets. We had leg bones for our soup but they seem to be too
small (and as they are already cooked maybe too "light").

Does anyone have experience in using bone for making tablets? Which part
of an animals skeleton would you prefer? How do you prepare bone to make
tablets? How do you get tablets (how do you saw them, what kind of saws
or similar di you use etc.).

Thanks for any hints.
